I'm intrigued that the Pennine Way is mapped on #OpenStreetMap as recognisable sections (mainly a reasonable hike for a day) until Middleton in Teesdale. Then there's just one relation for the remaining 190 km to Kirk Yetholm (just under half of the total route) : https://www.openstreetmap.org/relation/63872#map=8/55.067/-2.285

@poppis @EU_Commission The map uses #OpenStreetMap, which is great - but yeah, the implementation is quite lacking.
All the routes should be also on the #WayMarkedTrails site, with route data also coming from OSM.
And downloadable GPX can be imported in nearly any app, now including Organic Maps. -

Bam! A little bit of the California Coastal Trail now on displaying on Waymarked Trails! Unfortunately, not with the hierarchy it'll need to go the whole route from Mexico to Oregon. (I'll keep working on it. Maybe the Long Trails Hiking Project has a tutorial?) I've scanned along the coast and only see a few sections in San Francisco marked. I expected to see the most in southern California, so none is a surprise.
