Re-doing a #MusicWomenWednesday from 2024, as the video I'd linked to disappeared and I had to grab a new one.
When I was a kid in the 90s, I had a Wax Trax video compilation on VHS that had this great cover of Patsy Cline's "Walking After Midnight" done by Los Angeles' BRAINDEAD SOUND MACHINE. This was the first way I ever heard this song, and I'm crazy about this version.

Haha, I saw that I'd received an email from Wax Trax!, the seminal Chicago EBM label of the 80s/90s the other day.
Back to back, it was about Front 242 and My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult. Ha. I felt like I was back in 1988. 😃
