Had a week of no #running - had a few niggles and you may have heard it's been hot, so decided to rest. But I will be volunteering at #WaverleyLakes #Parkrun today as marshal.

Hot week means most #coffee deliveries for #Sheffield and surrounding area done by Royal Mail and Feral Express.
But personally just under two hours on #ebike for the week doing just over 35km is the way to travel. Cars are too hot - outside is the natural air-conditioning and doesn't require two tonnes of metal to do it.
Note: God-speed to all the delivery workers out there, without you, we would all struggle in this modern world.

No volunteering this time, just the #run. Gonna be a warm & sunny one for anyone else going out so a reminder to use sunscreen and drink water.

Second time volunteering at a #Waverley Lakes #Parkrun today. Did pre-event set up which allowed me to run it too.
I did feel like a bit of a spare part as it was set up quite quickly by people who knew what they were doing but I will probably become that person one day - learn by doing/watching.
