I for one have watched Waterworld (1995) multiple times, in fact. It felt more like a documentary than a disaster movie.

@diazona @mxchara It doesn't automatically ruin a movie for me either, but it sure is something I've seen enough of so absolutely weighs against it.

I think also also that I can maybe see a good movie that _could've_ been in Waterworld, whereas with Solarbabies stupid is written right on the tin. So there are no expectations to meet.

I have missed Monsterdon so much, oh goodness.

But my chronic illnesses have been a little better lately, which is super good news, and I've actually been doing more energetic stuff on Sundays! Still. To miss most of Waterworld. It does make one rethink priorities.

I mean I know she's going to miss him, who wouldn't miss that guy, he's...well he's a guy, that's for sure

But she can GARDEN now, and start birding, and sit on grassy hills in the wind. I think she'll be alright.
