#Wuzhiqi (chin.: 宋至清 巫支祁), a #WaterSpirit of the Huai and Guo rivers, #China, Song (960-1279) to Qing (1644-1911) dynasty, 12th - 18th c. (cast iron). The sculpture represents the monkey-like guardian spirit of the rivers Huai and Guo, which merge in the north of the Chinese province of Anhui.
