1. A #toilet started running while we were away yesterday.
2. As a result, our #waterpump ran continuously.
3. The 1st #battery out of two batteries collapsed.
4. The #inverter kept pulling current.
5. The 2nd battery was hammered.
6. This damaged the inverter's DC power stage and deep discharged and damaged at least one of the batteries.

And I was already frustrated that the @loveyoumore #icecream machine is still broken.

It will be good. 😇

I am looking for fountain water pump with a four foot lift that is quiet. It must dit in water approximately 12 inches deep. The fountain is just a trickle of water down lily-like flowers. I’ve tried two pumps so far and both were so loud I couldn’t hear the water feature over the hum of the pump. Any suggestions? (the one that came with it sropped working after two months, so I’d rather not try to get a replacement from the original manufacturer).

Originally intended as a universal smart pump for my mill and my plants. I had one thread angled slightly so the stepper had problems to covercome a certain dead point. One solution was to drill the holes new and just glue two rods in perpendicular. Worked better than expected.

Now I need to draw a new closed housing and get the electronics a bit more watertight.

My #WaterPump is now working really well since i introduced a new #microcontroller (#attiny) to manage when to pump though will see how it performs in winter. It only turns on when there is sun but that’s okay as I’m in no hurry to move the water, just need it slowly shifted up to the top rain barrel.
Next year I also plan to build a solar powered #irrigation system for my raised #vegetable beds again using #directSolarEnergy and the water that I’ve pumped up from the lower rain barrels.
