Today's article on My Funky #Watch from #Japan is more about the #story of the company behind the watch, than the watch itself. But, still, the watch is pretty cool in a #retro way…

I added a new Bulova #watch to my collection recently. This post is about two (of three) Bulova #watches that I think are among the nicest in my collection. I cover some #history of the models, why I selected them, and how I bought them.

DLC coatings: never again. Or at least don't buy the watch separate from the bracelet.
The watch is definitely a different color to the bracelet according to my eyeballs, but there is no way to pick it up with a camera.

I think I might be the king of making #mistakes. Especially when it comes to #watch #collecting. #read about my mistakes, and how I #learned my #lesson

I had always had my eye on this Mr. Jones watch for obvious reasons. I decided to buy it as a birthday present to myself.

I wrote a post about the latest addition to my watch collection, this time also in English: The Omega Seamaster Professional 300M that surprised me https://www.kulman.sk/en/omega-seamaster-professional-300m-36mm/

Items that we now consider to be luxuries once weren't, they were essentials. I wrote a small post about it here:

For a long time I have been looking for a midsize (36mm) Omega Seamaster for my small wrist. Omega stopped making midsize versions years ago. Now it is just 41mm and 42mm.
I originally wanted the "Bond" one with light blue aluminum bezel insert but that scratches very easily so it is very hard to find one in a good condition.
I found one with steel bezel for a good price and could not resist.
For a 20-25 years old watch it still looks very good, no big scratches or over-polishing and more importantly it still runs well so no servicing needed for now.
