@ben Can you tackle it yourself? Is it just the crystal/case or are the internals damaged?
There are so many damn tutorials on YouTube now (some more valuable than others, obviously) you could almost build an automatic watch from scratch.
If you're within reach of a good repair shop, that may be the way to go though. We're remote enough here in Atlantic Canada that quartz is the most practical/economical option. Battery changes are easy; calibration or automatic movement maintenance probably not so much. #watchcollecting
