I don't know what it is, but I really, really like the world of Wasteland 2.

I'm not very far into the game (20% as a wild guestimate) and what has been there so far actually has all been really generic.

But it feels nice.
It looks really nice, But I think it might be more because of the character writing. There are raiders and mutants you fight a lot, but the people you talk to seem like reasonable people living regular lives most of the time.

Only 10 minutes into resuming my 2 year old Wasteland 2 save and completely getting my ass handed to me on the encounter I had been stuck on last time I played, and immediately remembering why tactics RPGs are the coolest shit ever.

Just played Wasteland 2. Not recommended.

Although at first engaging and both a nostalgic successor to the original Fallouts as well as a worthy sequel, Wasteland 2 becomes offensively, unbearably long. The amount of time the game demanded I invest became so absurdly large that I completely lost any interest in any aspect of the game and uninstalled.

Da seit der #Fallout Serie jeder und seine Mutter die Reihe abfeiert: Hallo und willkommen im Ödland! 😁

Erinnert mich immer an unsere PR-Kampagne zu #Wasteland2 (dem Nachfolger zum geistigen Vorgänger von Fallout), als wir Brian Fargo (Gründer von Interplay und Black Isle Studios) da hatten und er meine Kopie des ersten Spiels signierte.

(Foto zeigt die PC Big-Box auf unserer gammligen Biergartengarnitur in der Agentur, die damals vor der Verschrottung mit "Wasteland 2" gebrandet wurde.)

Ein rundenbasiertes Rollenspiel, dessen Vorgänger die Vorlage für #Fallout war. Der Grafikstil war leider nicht mein Fall, aber vom Gameplay, der Lore und Geschichte hat es mir Spaß gemacht. Die Vorgehensweise ist relativ non-linear. Das Ende wird gefühlt etwas unnötig und künstlich in die Länge gezogen, aber insgesamt hatte ich an dem Spiel viel und lange Freude.

почав грати #bg3... знудився, пригадав непройдений #wasteland2 -- краще, закінчую... але в запасах (#gog) ще є три частини #shadowrun: менше недолугого rpg (не тому, що не люблю, а тому що ніщо не дотягує до старого доброго #fallout2), менше промахів, більше тактики і чвирк-чвирк, цікавіша історія, і дуже якісне оформлення.

п.с. а там поруч ще лежить #underrail, теж цікавіший, і теж на колись.
