Interesting story about the pros and cons such a large oyster set in Willapa Bay. One thing that might be happening regarding ocean acidification is that pacific oysters can pass down environmental information to future oysters so they are better able to create acid resistant shells. This adaptation allows them to mitigate impacts from ocean acidification. -
