In my country, we have eating houses called Warung, where food based upon Javanese tradition is prepared and sold. When I was a mere Padawan, the food was wrapped in healthy banana leaves, and you're always advised to wash your hands and eat with those, because of the good energy transfer that you do to yourself.
The ladies who kept that tradition high are long gone of course, the younger ones pack everything in plastic, which gives you microplastics in your body, just like everywhere else on the planet.
However on request you can get your food, that you let them prepare for a party of yours, be packed in banana leaves; in fact your whole order will be cheaper, because they do not charge you for going into their garden and cutting the leaves.
The Warung shown in the photograph makes very good food. One awesome meal to order is the Nasi Rames.
