I am distressed when I think about how my tax dollars are going toward this cruelty and destruction of the current Iran war. So I looked up about tax resistance and found the National War Resistance Coordinating Committee website https://nwtrcc.org/resist/consequences/
Here is a snippet from their page on the consequences of resisting war taxes:
"Of course there are also terrible risks involved with not doing war tax resistance. He was an abolitionist, accompanying Woolman down to the Southern colonies to labor with slave-holding Friends there. He was an abolitionist, accompanying Woolman down to the Southern colonies to labor with slave-holding Friends there.
