Cuando me vi #WarriorNun y la espada fue añadida a la lista. Cosas pasaron, y cerré encargos y decidí reconectar con mi creatividad. Started watching a few shows this evening with the wife but quickly quit them one after the other.

First up was a movie called #TheNorthman. Based on reviews, thought that it would be an “epic” tale of rollicking Viking derring-do. Nope. Insipid acting and boring as hell. Grown men barking like dogs. Man and a boy on their knees wearing loincloths. Like a live feed cam from Trump’s basement at Mar-A-Lago. Quit after 20 min.

Next up, #WarriorNun. Thought it would be fun but all it is is a teenage romance flick with some dumb super powers thrown in. Nope. Neeeext.

Last up, #SlowHorses based on a few comments I’ve seen posted on Mastodon. Got about 30 mins in but simply wasn’t interesting enough. Too much British twaddle. Walked away.

Everyone’s asleep now so I’m going to dig into the final season of #TheExpanse and pick up where we left off tomorrow. With all the streaming services we have, life’s too short to watch any show which doesn’t instantly interest.

I don't get why @[email protected] are cancelling shows like #TheBastardSonAndTheDevilHimself or #WarriorNun, yet giving us wave after wave of crap 'reality' shows and movies that miss the mark. I understand why #cancelnetflix is trending.

I knew I needed to draw this chainmail-like suit but didn’t want to actually draw it first before colouring. So I tried this easy way of rendering first to see if it would work and it did. So I ended up doing it this way for the rest of it.

Finished #WarriorNun Season 2 and everyone was correct that it amps up the pace and action considerably, but I wish I hadn't known about #avatrice going in because I would have been losing my mind. Fingers crossed Netflix picks up the show for Season 3, fans deserve to see what happens next.
