Flashing the cute little NanoC6 devices from m5stack was a breeze thanks to WebUSB and the great work of the ESPHome team. Then 5 minutes of disassembly and plugging in a cn105 connector and boom I have more control over these aircon units than I ever had before and can now connect them to a remote temperature sensor for more accurate readings.
This is what tech should be for, to put more control in the hands of users and break free from corporate bullshit.

Also changed the socket on one of the emergency batteries. It used to be 'just' a lead, and think an IEC plug is much easier.
