@[email protected] I never had strong feelings about whether it was #Netflix or #Paramount that "won" the right to buy out #WarnerDiscovery (it's all the same to me, both will restrict access to Warner's catalog & require everyone to pay for it) but Netflix is looking pretty smart by getting paid $2.8 BILLION for losing.

How many of you are also minded to ignore the new #Max streaming later this month because of the writers' strike?
The timing certainly looks bad for #WarnerDiscovery, particularly as they mothball the #GoT franchise and suspend their relationship with the great David Simon.
Mind you, I'm 💯 with the writers anyway.

Fuuuck this merger. BUT, I dont think #CartoonNetworkStudios is --dead--. But we might, MIGHT, be looking at a shadow of its former self. In a few years.
But even then, we still have a chance for it to be doing ~some~ of what it does now. We have to believe in the people inside (that are left) to keep the spirit of the studio alive.
