Just been told that the husband of my wife’s cousin had his neck broken while sat in his car, waiting to turn right at a junction. By a SUV driver who was checking her phone as she overtook another car to beat the lights.
Those cars have no place on city streets. Or the creeps that use them to insulate their shitty lives, while wreaking others.

Cars may be getting bigger, but Bollards are smart enough to up their birth rate.
The only thing polishing these beauties are the tears of the idiot SUV drivers, as they wait for a pickup truck.

A friend is leaving Tooting for Wales. We made card for her to remember the highs and lows of living here.
(Mostly highs for car drivers).

I rarely drive. I *had* to drive across London today. Main thought, was how utterly filthy the whole place looks, everything caked in grey dirt - thrown up by a bazillion cars.
Going through Tooting, there where Susana Hill Anti Ulez Plackards taped to junction railings.
They were filthy, too.

The car drivers had a protest march. “How are ambulances meant to get up and down the high road with these cycle lanes?” They cried.By not jumping into your huge SUV to take your poodle for a shampoo?
Amazingly, the Ambulances now find it easier to navigate the high road, than before.
Because the cars have to take action, rather than pretend it’s someone else’s problem.

Catch of the day. There is a junction at Tooting that has achieved legendary status.
FUVs* try to cut the turn by ignoring the clear markings and driving over the pedestrian walkway - only to meet the sharp end of a nicely placed metal bollard.Driver was ‘outraged’. 😂
I have 20 of these ‘catches’
