Vandaag vieren we #WangariMaathai, oprichtster van The Green Belt Movement en Nobelprijswinnares. Haar inzet voor het planten van bomen in haar geboorteland Kenia is een inspiratie geweest voor generaties en heeft nog steeds een wereldwijde impact.
We zijn dankbaar voor het werk van onze Keniaanse partners Jacob Mwanduka en WEC, en IcFEM, die het planten van bomen in hun gemeenschappen mogelijk maken en stimuleren.
