Update on my wand situation for the curious. I actually ordered these a while ago (before the death of my favorite wand) and they were due to arrive next week. But they arrived early, which was a nice surprise. Here's hoping that the Magic Wand is actually as durable as it's reputed to be. I'll make a post with my tasting notes once that eventually happens.

What do I associate with Christine? Confidence, above all else. Self-possession. Unshakable curiosity. Impulsivity. Charisma. A velvety-soft tummy.
#Wands is a suit often associated with fire. So the Queen of #Rods is a fiery character skilled at exerting her will without squandering her precious social capital. She does what she wants, and we only love her more for her boldness.

I like this Queen because I associate her with my parents’ adorable and malevolent cat, Christine. Christine is acknowledged as the Queen of Batons (or wands/rods/staves/whatever) in our family. 🐈⬛
