I just finished Wandering Sword. I thought it was a good game. However, I think some of the design choices w.r.t. encounters is pretty bad.
There is a certain part of the story in the new content where, right after a boss battle, they switch two of your party members with two other characters and then puts you right into a boss battle again. You, unfortunately, don't get to pick which two characters get swapped out.
That part was pretty frustrating and basically inflated my playtime by what feels like 4 or so hours. I feel like maybe that wasn't playtested as well as the rest of the game, given that was expanded content after release.
I liked how there was a lot of companion variety. I didn't mind that some were easily missable (and i missed A LOT.)
I hope they make other wuxia RPGs.

#WanderingSword is an incredible RPG with a gorgeous artstyle, unique progression, and two ways to fight enemies. And it can run quite well on the #SteamDeck.
Wandering Sword was provided by The Swordman Studio for review.
