Last 2 episodes were meh, just a jolly for the 3 lads to South America (in search of the 4th lad) by the looks of it. Anyway, onwards to the ladies version of the very ladish Rocco Schiavone, Le indagini di Lolita Lobosco, haven't seen a single cigarette in the first two episodes. #WalterPresents

I understand why Channel 4 put Arcadia on TV now.
It is so appropriate to what is happening in our lives right now. The way governments are "handling" things.
If you can get Channel 4, I highly recommend watching this series.

Good evening - it’s #ReviewTime (again). This time it’s a streaming series on #WalterPresents called ‘You Shall Not Lie’. Hopefully, there is no second season
It was utter tripe. A case of poor script & dreadful overacting, it takes the p**s. It leaps all over the place. The story is a teacher called Macarena shags a student who along with her husband gets killed by Macarenas daughter & her friend respectively. Oh, Macarena gets pregnant by the student & the killers aren’t caught

Tonight it’s about a streaming show called ‘The Silence’, set in #Croatia & #Ukraine and can be found on #WalterPresentsIt’s quirky, interesting plot lines and in places some good acting. Sadly the screenplay lets it down, it relies a bit on soviet style acting methods by two characters and flips about a bit.
If you miss this programme in all its glory, no need to curse yourself.

Todays review is of a TV crime drama aired over 8 episodes on #WalterPresents (which is a very good channel
It’s a #Belgian story called The Twelve - - The Cinderella Murder. It’s not to be confused with the #Australian titled “The Twelve” with Sam Neill, nor “The Twelve - season 1 (also Belgian, different storyline)
It’s about a woman murdered by 2 people with lots of sub-plots & stories
Great story, well acted. Perhaps some sub-stories could be expanded otherwise very good

If you're waiting for the next series of #Unforgotten & are OK with subtitles, then I can recommend #Sisterhood (an Icelandic series from C4 #WalterPresents) which has a similar narrative arc & while having different emphasis for the focus of the story, will be a reasonable gap-filler while you/we wait for the Unforgotten to return....not as good of course, but still delivering an interesting drama!

Just watched #WalterPresents #Sloborn on C4+ - this story of what happens on an island off the baltic coast when a major pandemic takes off is relatively plausible & an interesting reflection on how things with #Coronavirus might have gone a bit differently (if it had been like #ebola).
There's plenty of sub-plots but the dramatic focus is what happens to individual liberties when the state (here #Germany), acting to protect (what it sees) as the general good sacrifices the infected to fate!

Tasks for the day: lots of #sewing, until my back gets tired, then #knitting and the Belgian drama #RedLight on #WalterPresents. Sew a pair of sleep-shorts for Mom. Begin sewing gift bags and snowflake ornaments. Plan more outfits for Lulu’s special handmade doll (just wait till I show you pics of her).

If anyone is interested, there's some very good #European TV programmes on #WalterPresents which can be found through the #channel4 app. Just watched Hjerson & now Astrid in Paris. Can recommend both.
