"Give a Little Whistle" is a song written by #LeighHarline and #NedWashington for #WaltDisney's 1940 adaptation of #Pinocchio. The original version was sung by #CliffEdwards in the character of #JiminyCricket and #DickieJones in the character of #Pinocchio, and is teaching how to whistle in the film. It is one of two original songs to not appear in Disney's 2022 #liveactionRemake of the film, along with "Little Wooden Head".

Zehn Jahre ist es her, dass der Animationsfilm „Vaiana“ („Moana“) in die Kinos kam. Die Titelfigur will sich nicht der väterlichen Ordnung fügen, will nicht auf der Insel bleiben, sondern in See stechen, um auf diese Weise auch die Natur und ihr Volk, deren Herrscherin sie einmal sein wird, wiederzubeleben. Disney variiert einmal mehr die Heldenreise. Nun ist die Realverfilmung in den Kinos gestartet, in den Hauptrollen zeigen sich Dwayne Johnson und Catherine Laga’aia. Das ist aber auch fast der einzige Realitätsbezug, den es gibt. Ja, die Schauspieler existieren wirklich. Die anderen Bildwelten aber sind keineswegs real, sondern digital erzeugt, sodass sich die Frage aufdrängt: Ist das ein live-action-movie oder doch eher ein Animationsfilm mit ein paar echten Schauspielergesichtern? "A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes" is a song written and composed by #MackDavid, #AlHoffman and #JerryLivingston for the #WaltDisney film #Cinderella (1950). In the song, Cinderella (voiced by #IleneWoods) encourages her animal friends never to stop #dreaming, and that theme continues throughout the entire story. The song was inspired by #FranzLiszt’s #TranscendentalEtudeNo9Ricordanza.
