Just accidentally flushed a Swamp #Wallaby and a Red-necked Wallaby within a few metres of each other. Both turned to look at me for a few seconds. Both ran up the slope as soon as they saw the camera. So here's a picture of the slope.

Playing with food tonight & being my best no waste self 😊. I have some leftover marinated chicken, some leftover chicken soup. This house sit is usually lacking in spices so I make do - pleasantly surprised to find chilli flakes in the pantry & it’s a first. Now I’ve steamed more veg & will mix with the heated leftovers & add some of the chilli. Flavours could be interesting but I think will be ok. We will see!
Lovely walk around the river today & we came across this little wallaby to the side of the path. Of course it took off but I was able to get another picture anyway. Seemed more cautious than scared of us. So cute. #Australia #Wallaby #RiverWalk -

This morning, I looked out the back door, and spied a mother and older joey pair of Red-necked Wallabies in the backyard (yes, we need to mow).
The mother is the one standing up as far as I can tell, with the Joey near the ferns.
