First day since last week without rain Unfortunately, the heavy rains from last week South of me through the Adirondacks have made it down the regional rivers, like the Oswegotchie, to the St. Lawrence The new retaining wall in the Crescent down from the dam is holding up well

Haven't posted the last few days walks as they were very short due to the weather Thanks, Beryl Thankfully for us most of the worst stayed South of us
Today it was very Humid, 70%, though we did manage almost 3 miles -
Cooler today but still very Humid with thunderstorms all around us It was 82F/28C with a Feels Like temp of 92F/33.3C At a leisurely pace we went twice as far as yesterday

We checked out Beatty Park the previous weekend for the first time. It was a nice little park. We even got to see a pileated woodpecker fly by us! 🪶🌱
