So apparently my #hips are narrower than most men's #waist is. It's below the 5th percentile.

I then found a paper with more accurate percentiles but it's breadth which I found hard to measure.
I wouldn't expect to be accurate to less than 2cm but my measurement put me squarely in the first percentile O.o

Finally in the 1% I guess..

No wonder I can't seem to find any adult trousers that fit me!

So, what do I do now?

I really don't want a #belt and teenager #trousers are cheap garbage IME.

Neulich beim Müllsammeln im Wald hatte ich im Nu wieder 2 Säcke voll 😢. Seit ein paar Jahren sammle ich dort. Leider wird der Müll nicht nur dort mehr und mehr.

CW: enshittification of underpants

Situation: walking, a bit sweaty.
Complication: Undies have a woven, broad elastic waistband with the brand in huge letters on it.
Result: sweaty icky waist, grippiness, scratchiness, unpleasantness etc.

Why are all underpants this way now?

Do I have to go back to the old plan of buying an overlocker (and learning how to use it)? Quite a lot of bother to endure, but I bloody hate these bands.
