  1. An Oystercatcher (Haematopus ostralegus) ran/bounced up my driveway and then decided to jump on top of the giant tree stump that is waiting to be chainsawed and call out for over 10 minutes straight then flew back to the field next door where it is nesting. Photo taken through glass window.

  7. One of the main reasons I was out on the Estuary today was to check the Ringed Plover nesting area, and yes, there is a bit of competition going on between the males. A female was to right of frame.
