So, I'll be competing in a gaming tournament this Friday! Quite a unique one, featuring the arcade rhythm game, Wacca.

I'm unlikely to win, as there are more skilled players than me, and I have duller reading skills and reflexes (I'll blame those on age). But, I'll try to beat as many players as I can, and have a good time.

They have Dancerush (didn't actually get to it) and DDR and stuff.

But I mainly played Wacca (reverse) and Groove Coaster.
But man..... #wacca kinda addicted to it now... Actually so much fun. Such a shame there literally isn't a single cabinet in all of Belgium and only 1 location that has it in the Netherlands

Off the top of my head, #WACCA and #Museca both don't have official servers anymore, which means certain parts of the game experience are just gone now. (e.g. no more unlockables) If you find either of those machines that will actually scan an aime or e-Amusement card, you're playing on a modded cabinet.

I occasionally hear rumblings on various rhythm game forums or Discords whenever someone finds a cabinet in this odd state. Don't snitch on your arcade owner! Just enjoy it as is!

#wacca is a sad game for me because it came out not long before covid, i thought it was really great, then i really missed it during covid closures, then during "new normal" I barely played it because of covid world + career change stuff taking up all my time, missed most of the songs, and then it ended and went offline. It's like the saddest music game casualty alongside museca #rhythmgames #音ゲー
