@tastingcraftbeer Nice article! I have only had one White Stout ( #wabashaBrewing Horror Frost white chocolate white stout) and it is a departure from the typical model.

I really enjoy the range of stouts, from the jet-black to the near amber color and flavors deep in coffee and chocolate to the yeasty UK varieties.

Will it stave off the coming heat wave?

Probably not.

Will it hit the spot rolling into the long weekend?

Yes!!

Got the usual odd looks drinking a #PrarieArtisanAles BOMB! #imperialStout on a warm summer evening, but damnit it’s SO GOOD! Rich and velvety with coffee, cacao, vanilla, and a hint of chili pepper.

Followed it with a shared #wabashaBrewing Horror Frost white stout, some #TopplingGoliath Rush Hollow Maple Ale, and a #BrauBrothers Moo Joos Red Velvet oatmeal #milkStout

AND it’s the Vanilla Porter from #wabashaBrewing

This is a NICE Porter with a super balanced vanilla notes. Very Smooth and light for a patio evening!

Stopped in at #wabashaBrewing for a Dead King imperial stout! Beautiful night for a patio outing, with a mellow #BarrelAged #stout that’s full bodied yet light on the barrel notes.

I shall have to try the Vanilla Porter too!
