We just had our blanket primary, and the results are worrisome: the two GOP candidates together got 51.5% of the vote. If we're going to hold this seat--and we have to, if we're going to take the House back--we need to invest in it.

He changed his mind about voting late.

During the campaign, he has advised his voters to vote late, based on seriously warped disinformation about how ballots were processed. Now it seems like he is at least partially blaming that thinking on his loss.

* He announced he's running again in 2024

* He hinted he was going to sue over the signature verification system

All the counties involved in the #wa03 machine recount will recount and certify at a different pace. The last certification I can find was Skamania, which isn't going to be until a week from today

1. Despite mentioning signature verification in his comms about the recount, this process with have zero to do with that step of ballot processing

2. A machine recount is basically rerunning the initial machine tabulation OR verification of the logic and accuracy test, which all the counties passed weeks ago

3. The $42k deposit is just a deposit. He's going to have to pay the entire amount, which will be way more
