Une petite quinzaine d’élèves motivés ont redonné vie à des ordinateurs récupérés dans l’école primaire voisine, incompatibles avec #W11, grâce à une installation sous #PrimTux ♻️Au programme :

Un simple et bon conseil : Ne pas utiliser de #navigateurs / #OS agentiques.
#OpenAI : les injections de prompts resteront « un défi pour de nombreuses années »
Si OpenAI veut montrer qu’elle prend le problème des attaques par injection très au sérieux, elle reconnait dans le même temps qu’il ne sera probablement jamais circonscrit.

M$ přiznal, že Explorer stojí za prd, tak jej urychlí tím, že jej bude přednadčítat do paměti, místo toho aby optimalizace kódu, asi je to už šílená slátanina.
No, FUJ.... přitom je bezplatná konkurence, která jej předčí.
PS: samozřejmě myslím FILES -

Still no automatic data & apps migration system, Microsoft? 😮
Please learn from macOS! Especially when you force so many people to change their PCs to Windows 11!

@Kletskous Pardon mais conseiller de racheter un nouvel ordi si #W11 n'est pas compatible me semble inconséquent en terme d'écologie.
A minima informez vos utilisateurs des autres possibilités : 1) installer linux => orientez-les vers un site qui les guide 2) installer W11 avec par exemple : https://www.justgeek.fr/installer-windows-11-sur-un-pc-non-compatible-98376/
A noter qu'installer W11 est possible car #Microsoft offre des méthodes de contournement mais il faut utiliser des outils type Rufus pour cela. -

For a while I have been running #W11 on my gaming PC, because I thought I‘d get into sim racing. Never did, because, well I almost never have the time to game and didn’t want to spend the money for the equipment. Switched back to #Ubuntu this evening. All I can say, jedi survivor lagged heavily and is smooth again. Fascinating how an OS + compatibility layer can be more efficient than another OS on its own….

Je n'ai encore jamais sauté le pas mais depuis 5 ans que je transitionne le + d'applications et logiciel possible vers #opensource je pense que j'ai un peu + le recule pour tenter l'aventure.
Bien + facile de changer d'OS quand on s'affranchit des outils propriétaires 😁

Ich habe den ganzen Tag ein gebrauchtes Notebook mit #LinuxMint ausgestattet. Es läuft super. NAS eigebunden. 4 Mailkonten integriert. Favoriten importiert. Usw usw. Schneller als mein #W11. Mal sehen was noch fehlt.

Auf eines kann man sich fast immer verlassen: Dass Microsoft (MS) Updates mit Fehlern ausliefert. So jetzt wieder bei den Updates des Februar-Flickentages (KB5051987). Auf W-11mit Stand 24H2 wird über mehrere Probleme berichtet.

Habe hier einen weiteren #windows 10 Rechner mit einem Endlos-Update Problem (wird immer wieder installiert, schlägt immer wieder fehl), das ich trotzt aller Bemühungen lange nicht lösen konnte, im Gegensatz zu anderen Rechnern. Aber Beharrlichkeit zahlt sich aus und zu guter Letzt habe ich eine, wie ich finde, hervorragende Lösung gefunden: #debian installiert und das Problem war sofort gefixed.

In 2016, I gave up my Mac in disgust (due to the silly keyboard/ports situation) I took it as a reason to just try other things so I experimented with both #Linux and #W11 (I'm using a W11 device now)
It's time for a new computer and I'm reluctantly going back to Mac. Why? The quality of the apps. The overall quality of BOTH PC and Linux apps are just horrible. I'm still deeply skeptical of #Apple, but not the developers, they are the real heroes.
