  1. still having fun exploring glass shaders in #blender #b3d I like that there's a million things you can dig into with blender. Just shaders offer a whole lot to learn, let alone modeling, animation, and the rest! Coming from #quartzcomposer #maxmsp and #vuo, the node editing UI feels very familiar and fun.

  2. Benson the warehouse cat stopped by the studio just now to say hello and get scritches. A welcome break for me as I continue to work on the integration of #OBS and #VUO and the #DMX lights and stuff. I'm almost back at the point I was late last year before the whole studio remodelling and before I decided to replace QLC+ with Beam.

But never mind all that here's me spinning a cat on a stool, just in time for #caturday

  3. TWF you spend the evening writing the beginnings of the doco, commit it, then immediately spot several critical omissions and have to update.

Anyhoot, it's been in a private repo for a while but I've done a significant amount of the README now .. so without further ado may I present

  4. Just a normal Saturday spent destroying my living room to try out a #portrait #photo concept.

Using my “big box camera” (DOF converter with an Industar 37 lens and parchment paper), Panasonic G85, Yongnuo flashes, and a custom #Vuo app for checking composition and focus via HDMI capture mirrored to my iPad. I think this is the easiest #selfportrait setup I’ve used so far (the Panasonic remote app never worked well for focus), albeit one of the more complicated to set up and manage.

  5. I'm too old for this, but definitely stayed up most of the night working on a new tool because I wanted easy screenshot DOF, and I'm nothing if not determined. Built entirely in #Vuo, it allows for freeform adjustments and drag-and-drop functionality. I love it.
