In general, i agree, @ChrisMayLA6. The Austrian school seems happy for the economic destruction to destroy individuals & communities.
But Ireland's avoidance of Schumpeterian destruction was far worse than any of us imagined. NAMA was created to reduce the asset price crash, & thereby reduce bank losses.
NAMA wanted a rapid exit, so it sold the assets to vulture funds, to whom the govt gave massive tax breaks.
Now #vultureFunds control Irish housing. And Irish society is wrecked 😡
