Bál jsem se, že jako #OsobaSeDvemaBatohama to nevylezu, ale dali jsme to se synátorem. #VelkyRozsutec byl náročný, ale výhled skvělý. Při čtvrtku v poledne bylo nahoře asi 50 lidí, takže žádné velké davy. Pak jsme si dali ještě #MalyRozsutec. Po tom Velkém už to bylo pořádné sousto. Mnohem strmější z obou stran, samé řetězy, kramle a šplhání po skále. To už jsem odpočíval co 5 výškových metrů. Jak říkají naši tělocvikáři na #VSB : výlet se nemusí zdařit, ale musí být drsný. Ten náš se i zdařil

As of today, the Vancouver School Board sent this document rolling out Copilot 13+ AI in schools. The same technology that has been consistently shown to damage critical thinking skills and isolate teenagers is now being rolled out to all Vancouver students above 13.

Tak kuna je stále přítomna, na fakultě momentálně obývá přednáškové místnosti. Náš správce budovy proto pouští nonstop v přednáškovkách Manowar, prý je to vhodná hudební produkce k znepříjemnění kuního života... No nevím nevím, jestli to jsou kuny metlošky (Martes Metallicus), tak z fakulty bude kuní farma.

Interesting. The Vancouver School Board just announced they're going to stick with the semester system AND extend Flexible Instruction Time (FIT) from 100 mins/week to 160 mins/week. Both these things were brought in due to COVID and returning from online learning. #vsb

Also last night, the ABC dominated school board pushed through a motion that brings back School Liaison Officers to #VSB schools. The process was broken, one trustee with a clear conflict of interest voted, and it was done over the objections of many BIPOC students and parents. And the BC Human Rights Commissioner.
I heard an interesting analogy at the DPAC meeting last week: if the cafeteria served something that made 10% of students ill, it'd be removed immediately.
