Every Sunday I look back at the preceding week in kpop and pick out the music video or performance I liked best. This week I have chosen Weeekly – Vroom Vroom.

The discoish, vaguely citypopish, and at times wistful sound appeals to me, as did the restrained vocals; this is kpop for grown ups! Although the MV had its moments, I found it disappointingly incoherent. Consequently, I’ve linked to this showcase stage, which has its own YouTube visual problems but nevertheless shows off the choreography and outfits well.
