When using ethereal bosses with voxelibre you can actually enchant it's armor same as if native gear but tools and weapons do not seem to be compatible. Nothing I've found from zombies 4 test can be enchanted. #voxelibre #zombies4test #etherealbosses #luanti

I've decided to limit announcements of the weekly #Voxelibre game (Saturday afternoons) for the Autistic/ADHD/AuDHD just to this group, discontinuing full-public posts. I'll experiment with making "Quiet public" posts only.

It was about youth social media bans (which I also oppose).

Luanti in esecuzione su GhostBSD 25 (con X11 / Xlibre).
Il gameplay è davvero fluido che non sfigura per nulla davanti al port Linux e Win.
Voxelibre è stato aggiornato in queste settimane e la nuova versione è più pesante della precedente, perciò dovrò fare di nuovo un'altra registrazione sotto Linux più in avanti.

I have been setting up a Raspberry Pi after the disk image was corrupted.

I've had a couple of partial failures of M2 drives, one SATA one NVME recently. Both were of a similar age.

Anyway, I built the dev branch of #luanti for this machine and it runs alongside the flaktpak version already installed.

I wanted to add #Voxelibre only to find that it wasn't working yet on the 5.18 versions of Luanti.

Well it has now been fixed!

@csepp Short tap is right click, long tap is left click. Eating stuff is tricky, short tap moves the dish to the mouth, but you need a second tap plus holding it down so the whole dish is eaten. The new #voxelibre version should improve this somehow, but did not try it yet. Shift is the Aux1 on-screen button.

My kids learned #luanti on a touchscreen first, then #minecraft with a mouse later, that is also a difficult learning curve. :D

Most voxelbased survival games as Minecraft, Minetest, VoxeLibre a.o. follow the same principle: Farm some crops, mine coal and ores, make weapons, kill mobs and animals. Energy is taken from fossils (coal).

In our project, a VoxeLibre based game, we change this a bit. Solarpunk included.
We have solar cells, windmills and batteries to store energy. Most machines are hybrid, an can run on coal or electricity. And for many animal products, there are vegan alternatives :-)

Baue mit erwachsenem K1 an einem Game, basierend auf VoxeLibre/Luanti. Energie ist in diesen Spielen normalerweise fossilbasiert (Kohle + Holzkohle). Da muss man natürlich Gegensteuer geben. Next steps: Windräder + Solarpanels, die man zur Energiegewinnung nutzen kann :-)

@autistics The highlight was the building of "Murdoc's wild ride", pictured. There are a whole bunch of new tracks, connecting floating islands in the sky.

There are 2 large minecart systems now, and Murdoc's "tower" (and waterfall) connects the two rail systems, you might say.

This week, we have some map contributions from @Catwoman69y2k . Much appreciated! The 1st map shows where the "Origin" is (the crosshairs; the point where one first "spawns"). The "Owl" region has the most buildings (there's more than what is labelled) and train tracks connecting everything. The second map is the "Owl" region zoomed in. Train tracks connect each place shown. Vast regions still remain unexplored, and boating around is recommended to do that exploring (eg. bring a friend and boat together).
