Giving a government that runs a referendum a bloody nose by voting No will make future governments very wary of referendums.
It’s like Trump vs Biden. Old wording versus new wording. Choose the one you dislike least. There’s no third option.
A rerun with new language isn’t on the table (ever).
The only possible way I see a rerun with new wording on Care is to give the government a resounding success..

This Friday, there will be two referendums. I will #VoteYesYes in both to:
👨👧👦 Include families based on other "durable relationships" — like civil partnerships, cohabiting couples and one-parent families.
👩💼 Remove outdated language about the life and duties of a woman in the home.
We’ve moved on a long way since the constitution was written in 1937. The changes being proposed are about that.

Mullally is brilliant. The provisions of Article 42 were wrong to begin with in 1937, and a betrayal; and a new wrong Article in 2024, another betrayal, won't make anything right.
