@0xD Auch die #Demokratie wird von #Trump und Co. massiv angegriffen, nicht nur beim #Wahlrecht, #VoterSuppresion, #Briefwahl-Verhinderung oder #gerrymandering .
Aber in der Tat ist die Aushöhlung des #Rechtsstaats mindestens ebenso wichtig, weil damit die Chance genommen wird, alle anderen Angriffe auf #Freiheiten und #Grundrechte abzuwehren.
Hier würde ich mir - als Repräsentant und Akteur des Rechtsstaats wie als Bürger - wirklich auf allen Seiten mehr Bewusstsein wünschen: wenn ständig in das Bashing auf demokratische und rechtsstaatliche Institutionen eingestimmt wird, unterminiert das die Bereitschaft der Zivilgesellschaft, gegen die Schwächung dieser wichtigen Einrichtungen zu kämpfen - bis man sie selbst bräuchte, sie aber nicht mehr funktionieren oder zu schwach sind.

Auch wenn das in bestimmten Kreisen nicht gern gehört wird: auch eine demokratisch stabile #Polizei ist für die Wahrung von Freiheit und Recht unerlässlich. Deshalb würde ich mir ggfl. konkrete Kritik wünschen, kein allgemeines vorurteilsbeladenes Bashing, wie es leider oft erfolgt.
