I have been largely avoiding the news for a little while to retain what little sanity remains, so I did not notice the extraordinary(?) claims by Habib (ex Reform) that Farage was paid to withdraw candidates to make way for Johnson’s Tories. Coincidentally, Harborne, the source of Farage’s £5M also found £1 down the back of the sofa to bung at Johnson. Will anyone be held to account? No don’t answer that.

Steps taken by Facebook to prevent a recurrence of such malign influence in 2024 cannot so far guarantee similar tactics won't work again.

Today, a new report from the #ElectoralCommission has found that #VoterID rules will impact people with #LowerIncomes , with #disabilities and from #MinorityEthnicBackgrounds But the Government has responded to say its reforms are ‘very encouraging’ and that most people “adapted well to the rollout”.
