That's the @volla #VollaPhone Plinius Pro preordered (okay, last week already).
Looking forward to exploring a phone with minimal Google dependence, bloat- and spyware again. I'm coming from a very long history of custom ROM usage since the days of the HTC Hero and I want to tinker again. I'm going to keep my #fairphone6 as a second phone. You never know with these banking apps (fingers crossed they all work with #microg )

Wollte mal #ubuntutouch als daily driver testen. Scheitert schon an einer Podcast-App.
Weder #Podcat noch #Podphoenix können opml importieren.
Schade!
Meine das hatte vor ein paar Jahren besser funktioniert, man konnte wenigstens opml importieren.

6 mois de #vollaPhone, premier bilan :
- orienté sur le privacy first, basé sur lineage (je crois), dégoogueulisé
- j’adore l’interface minimaliste du lanceur de VollaOS. C’est ultra simple. Je me suis aperçue à quel point les widgets peuvent être inutiles pour mon usage.
- ça m’aurait bien arrangé d’avoir une alternative à android car auto (ça existe d’ailleurs ?) pour le gps

pas testé l’appli de ma banque, mais france identité plante avec microG, swile ça va

Welches "kommerzielle" Custom ROM nutzt ihr?

Angefixt von meinen Experimenten mit e/OS auf dem alten Galaxy S6 beschäftige ich nach langer Zeit mit "kommerziellen" googlefreien Android Custom-ROMS mit microG. Kommerziell im Sinne von, dass es sich um ein komplettes ROM inkl. Google-Emulation mit Location Services handelt und eine Firma dahinter steht, die auch Smartphones mit dem OS vertreibt. Abzugrenzen davon sind Community-ROMs ohne Firma im Rücken, wie LineageOS oder GrapheneOS.

M.E. gibt es derzeit drei ROMs bzw. Anbieter :

@isukun @Topecax Sin el codigo AOSP tendrías que instalar un sistema diferente (Linux) como @postmarketOS , @mobian , @ubports , @droidian , o algún otro siempre que haya una versión compatible con el dispositivo que hayas adquirido o comprar uno que ya la tenga sabiéndolo de antemano... Otra alternativa es comprar directamente un teléfono que ya tenga #linuxmobile instalado como @furilabs , @purism o #VollaPhone. Pero si... Está claro que habrá que ir olvidándose de Android.

Tatsächlich steht die Kombination knapp auf Rang 2 meiner Liste. Mit #VollaPhone ein deutsches Projekt direkt dahinter. Bei letzteren ist die Möglichkeit, zwei verschiedene OS parallel zu nutzen, ein netter Gedanke.

@ludivokrug я вот последним разлочил и прошивал Redmi Note 9T, было прям легко. Учитывая, что не делал этого уже года 3.
Но это из могикан на старом ещё MIUI. C моделями после 2024 уже невероятно сложно :(
