Meine VW App läuft nicht mehr auf meinem #VollaOS :( Ich finde mit vertretbaren Aufwand den Fehler nicht. Nun hat sich nach Tagen der Support gemeldet und sagt sie unterstützen

Ich werde mich wohl doch intensiver damit beschäftigen müssen.

@the_infamous I had vollaos as primary os on a volla22 for quite a while with Ubuntu touch as secondary. It was definitely fun if you like this sort of thing 🙂

Was ist da der Unterschied, und was würdet ihr machen?

Wo für braucht es überhaupt diese Attestation? Doch nur wegen der Compliance Angst der Rechtsabteilungen? Denn auf dem Desktop geht es doch auch ohne?
Und mit dem #CRA sind doch die Hersteller für Ihre Apps verantwortlich und nicht was der Nutzende für ein Gerät einsetzt.

Angefixt von meinen Experimenten mit e/OS auf dem alten Galaxy S6 beschäftige ich nach langer Zeit mit "kommerziellen" googlefreien Android Custom-ROMS mit microG. Kommerziell im Sinne von, dass es sich um ein komplettes ROM inkl. Google-Emulation mit Location Services handelt und eine Firma dahinter steht, die auch Smartphones mit dem OS vertreibt. Abzugrenzen davon sind Community-ROMs ohne Firma im Rücken, wie LineageOS oder GrapheneOS.

M.E. gibt es derzeit drei ROMs bzw. Anbieter :
