Yesterday's setup for my Hiphop workshop with a young + talented rapper and producer. TR-808 Mid Tom triggering the Simmons SDS8 Kick for extra low punches is a very cool weapon and great fun. Hooked up the Korg Volca Beats just for comparison since my client might get into hardware and naturally has to start somewhere. The Volca series machines sound good and are very affordable.

Found a #volca sample for 40€. So amusing. Feels like an improvement over the volca beats. Going to install Pajen firmware soon

I just got a used #volca modular #synth for 50€.
Maybe it is just me because it is the new toy but after using it for a couple of house (without patching!) I think that people are really not giving it emough credit.
The little thing is deep.
