#voicemod — Public Fediverse posts

Anyone familiar with #voicemod? Or even just interested in hearing me try some filters? My voice bums me out but I can't stand testing it either, I think it would help if someone else could tell me if a mod sounds good or not. Can't test it live on stream and nobody seems to want to use voice chat anymore.

Clever idea: #Voicemod for smartphones. Attaches to the back, plugs in via USB-whatever, bunch of programmable buttons to pick alt voices and sound fx.

Early reviews (bottom of the page) seem mixed though. But tinkering with Voicemod on my gaming PC in games like #ArcRaiders has been pretty fun.

Have any of you used and/or had positive feedback for realtime voice editing software?

I tested the classic #voicemod (https://www.voicemod.net/) but the effects are very robotic and the software almost always adds English accents when I speak in other languages, including fictive languages.

Classic use case: play characters (PJ or NPC) in online #rpg sessions.

J'ai testé le classique #voicemod (https://www.voicemod.net/) mais les effets sont très robotiques et le logiciel ajoute presque systématiquement des accents anglais.

Cas d'utilisation classique : jouer ponctuellement des personnages (PJ ou PNJ) dans des séances de #jdr en ligne.
