I have had #vitiligo since I was 11 and my hair has been turning white/silver since then. Having white hair as a kid/teen is a nightmare, of course. However, after more than 40 years of dyeing my hair, I decided to let the white streaks grow out. The look is growing on me.

As a meerkat enthusiast who spent years dreaming of meeting her in-person before finally being able to last year, the news of her death was heartbreaking.
