[Перевод] Vite 8.0: долгожданный Rolldown

13 марта 2026 года вышла новая мажорная версия инструмента для сборки фронтенд‑приложений — Vite 8. Главным изменением стал переход на новый бандлер Rolldown, написанный на Rust. Теперь Vite использует единый инструмент вместо связки esbuild и Rollup, что позволяет значительно ускорить сборку — по заявлениям разработчиков, в некоторых проектах прирост достигает 10–30 раз. Это самое значительное изменение архитектуры Vite со времени выхода Vite 2. Кроме этого, в релизе появились встроенные devtools, улучшенная поддержка TypeScript, новые возможности для SSR и ряд изменений в экосистеме плагинов. @adrian sure, I'll watch the video just after I'm migrating this project back from #yarn to #npm, I'll remove these abandoned third party #ReactJS packages because nobody is using them anymore, also it needs to use #ViteJS and #Bun now instead of the stuff that it used before.

And I'll need to hurry because JS hipsters are already doing some YouTube rants on why this is yesterday's marmalade already and why I need to migrate again to the next thing.

Hm, facing an issue that have never faced before. I am doing some stuff in 11ty and I am generating random data. But I'd like to be seeded, so I am using seedrandom. I am creating the data in a global data file. Whenever I safe this file, the "same" random data gets generated. But whenever I save a regular template file, it creates something randomly new entirely. This may have something to do with vite, which is being used.

Not sure how to solve this, tbh.
