Been playing #visionsofmana for a bit now.
I saw quite a few reviews saying the story was bad but I haven't felt the same way. To me I have enjoyed it so far. There are some logical jumps just like a lot of RPGs but this one feels very Secret of Mana ish in it's approach. The love story behind the scenes so far really hits you in the feels.
Looking forward to completing this one.

Lo primero, jugué la versión de #steam en #linux, y perfecto, sin problemas de ningún tipo.Ahora, mi opinión del juego:
El juego en sí, es un buen juego. El combate está muy bien, las mecánicas de clases no están nada mal, gráficamente es un juego bastante agradable, la música... Sin más la verdad, y la historia, bastante normalita.
Es un juego entretenido. Ahora bien, hubo algo que me empañó la experiencia de juego de mala manera... Las misiones secundarias.
Tiene una cantidad ingente de misiones secundarias para alargar el juego, bastante aburridas y monótonas. Se dividien en "mata esto" y "traeme esto". No digo que la mitad, pero si gran parte del tiempo dedicado a este juego fue con las secundarias.
Cada vez que avanzabas un poco la historia principal, tenías que revisar todas las ciudades y mapas por si habían salido misiones nuevas. Horrible la verdad.Quitando eso, cuando terminas el juego, puedes comprar el último objeto de cada personaje para ampliar el tablero de las reliquias, y con ello, activar una mecánica que te permite mezclar habilidades de clases y usar el arma que quieras. Me pareció increíble, pero que te lo den una vez te pasas el juego... No me termina de convencer.
El juego en si no es especialmente complicado, pero se nota mucho en la última dungeon antes del boss final la subida de nivel. Debido a las misiones secundarias, le sacaba casi 20 niveles a los benevodones, y en la última dungeon, al final, iba casi a la par con los enemigos.
En cuanto a la historia, tengo que romper una lanza a su favor. Cuando muere Hina, pensaba ... "Bah, en algún punto del juego la resucitarian". Me sorprendió que no, muerta está y muerta se queda... Y después de los créditos, que se vea lo que ocurre, con Val en la cama que muere de viejo, y la escena de después reuniéndose con Hina en el árbol del maná... Me gustó, chapó.
En resumen: quitando las misiones secundarias y la mecánica de postgame que deberian haberlo añadido antes, es un juego que está bien, pero sin más.

Wow this #visionsofmana game has a dark undercurrent. The game starts out in a very "Logan's Run" kinda way, and then we switch to a happy pair going to certain doom and encounter the previous sandman and like wow, where is this plot going? #jrpg I guess it's a JRPG so they'll kill god in some way.

Legend of Mana used to be one of my favorite games as a teen but with my two additional decades of gaming experience, it's such a *weird* game. Still looking forward to the new game coming out. :)
