#VisualStudio is such a good environment for learning #python and other #programming languages such as C#. It is a one stop shop. I have been disliking Microsoft for over 30 years now. But Visual Studio is just too convenient a tool with a good editor, test environment and so on. The only complaint is that it took me a while to set up the #virtualEnvironment of Python which is a black box with no possible file control at all. If you accidentally lose that environment, you are doomed.

Actually getting my #inkyphat to work has proven problematic still. I have a suspicion that the example scripts were all written before the change to python. Probably you haven't noticed but at the start of this video (>0:10) I open a #Python #VirtualEnvironment with a dedicated desktop application.
It’s a small project that I haven’t had much time to work on yet. Let me know if it's something that could be useful for you as well.

@mvolz Even the other #engineer s aren't always impressed by the black triangle. I moved from #python 2 to #python 3 AND set up a #virtualenvironment AND rewrote all the #orbit handling code from scratch in about three weeks
