Also picked up the RSD reissue of Paparoach - Crooked Teeth.
This one sounds lovely and I expected it to be cut hot and too loud. However it’s not and has some good dynamics allowing some decent volume but keeping all the highs and lows with a sweet mid frequency.

Picked up some more Rush albums today. Repress/Remaster and not originals. Shame really as I’d love all my Rush Collection to be original pressings.
However still pleased to add these two.

Nothing beats being in a Rush.
Not a full collection by any means but so classics in there.
The quest is on to get the rest now.

First Sunday sounds coming from Miles Davis - Kind of Blue. This is the MoFi Box and while not the worst I’ve heard this album, it’s certainly quite far from the best too.
Compared to the all analogue chain pressing that was done in 2013 for RSD, this one is a bit of a mess.
First it was a Tape to DSD64 to Record process, it’s also full of pressing issues which were never caught in the QC which is a shame.
My own copy while not too bad, it does have some issues with record 2, the spindle hole is slightly off leading to miss tracking and slight distortion especially in the miss on the outer edge of the record. It’s also quite a noisy record too.

Now over to the Clifford Jordan Quartet for a spin of Glass Bead Games (Pure Pleasure Records Pressing)
A stunning classic and the pressing is one of the best I’ve heard of the album.

Next on deck is Ondekoza vs Down Town Fighting Boogie Woogie Band.
A fantastic mix of Rock, Boogie Woogie & Jazz all fused with the Traditional Taiko Drums of Ondekoza.

no work today so it’s a little wax time.
The 87’ pressing of “Faith No More” “Introduce Yourself”
Great Nu-Metal album, it’s compressed due to running a little hot but not a patch on some other albums released in the same era.

Can you guess the album?
It's in a beautiful marbled midnight blue but without a clear underneath mat it's almost impossible to see the patterns. I tried at least to catch a glimpse of the blue tone.
Hey there 😃

Hey, music/ podcast enthusiasts, give some love, likes and shares to my friend Mark. Today he launches his #podcast CUT OUTS. Each episode features an overlooked indie alt-rock record rescued from the discount bin of history. Very cool stuff. He's championing remaindered acts who never got the attention they deserved! https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/cutouts #indiemusic #vinyl #vinylporn #dyimusic #musicpod #talkaboutrecords #greatalbums #greatrecords #recordtalk #newwave #punk #genx #cutouts #cutoutspodcast
