  1. On the healing bench today, a #candlestick #telephone - it’s a UK Post Office “Tele 180” made by Plessey in 1927

    It’s the oldest phone I own!

    It’s a little sorry for itself, with broken wires, paint in the mechanism, a stuck hook switch and slow dial… it’s not in original condition (bits have been overcleaned, or repainted) but I’m not worried about that.

    The first move has been to get it all apart for cleaning!
