Just finished cleaning a basket of #VintageLego #Modulex bricks. These smaller than regular #Lego bricks were intended for #architecture #ModelMaking in the early #1960s
Lego made the Modulex 1x1 brick in a perfect square ratio 1:1:1 and a rather cute 5mm height (around half the height of a regular Lego brick).
Numerous colours were available including earth and pastel tones. The product line was discontinued under Lego by 1965 but the format continued for some years under a separate company #History #NowYouKnow

CW: Cleaning vintage Lego with an ultrasonic cleaner
A quick test using my ultrasonic cleaner on a #VintageLego HO Bedford truck. This is 1950/60s #Lego and the painted features (bumper/grill) quite delicate.
The system is a Unisonics FXP 12DH, 100W, 40kHz. 5.6L capacity, 5mm aperture basket.
I ran it with reduced settings given the risk to paint and I’m happy to report - NO loss of paint and excellent cleaning!
Run time was 25 minutes in Simple Green solution (10%) with no added heat.
