I made this owl in flight cyanotype using vintage lace, a stencil I cut, and some “wood wool” packaging (tangled nest of long thin shavings which were used in a gift box of fancy hot chocolate complete with ceramic mugs). I like how the shape of the lace gave me a round owl face with radiating feathers and the scribbled lines texture from the packaging!
