Acquired Vintage c. 1940s Fluorescent Desk Lamp (Radionic Trans. Co.)
On September 21st, I picked up this vintage lamp for my desk. It was a steal at $14.99 from the local thrift shop which doesn’t often have lamps at all. The brown crinkle paint is a near perfect match for my 1955 Royal HH standard typewriter. While a bit dusty and covered in decades of nicotine, it’s cleaned up nicely and works well. I love the fact that there are small grooves in the base that seem to be designed to hold a pen or pencil.Material: Steel

Nå er det akkurat ei uke siden jeg tuslet rundt i Paris, og passerte et bruktmarked med noen utrolig kule stoler som jeg litt tilfeldig tok bilde av. Nå på fredag la jeg bildet ut på et møbelforum på fb. Det eksploderte. Det viser seg at stolen til høyre går brukt for 60 tusen og oppover! Det er en Herman Miller Eams Lounge stol, har jeg lært. Original design fra 50-tallet. #HermanMiller #vintagefurniture

I bought myself a #vintage printing block drawer. It'll go nicely in my bathroom as a shelf for trinkets. I love collecting little things from my travels so I'll be able to finally display them on this.
